The Member Definition command provides the means to define each main member (girder) in the bridge.

LEAP Bridge Steel uses a schedule based methodology where the elements that make up the member (e.g. web, top flange, bottom flange, standard shape) are defined by locating each along the longitudinal axis of the member.

Member definitions are made on a member group basis. However, once a member is defined for a member group, it can be copied to another member, or all members, in the group. Members can also be copied to other Member Groups. To define a member, highlight the member ID in the list to the left. By default Member01 is the active member for editing.
